My family, staff and regular customers will tell you that I have a soft spot for animals. My kids have seen me stop on the highway to pick up a slow turtle crossing the road and carry him to safety, my husband cringes if we drive by PetSmart during adoption day and the staff calls me to pick up spiders and carry them outside if we find one in the shop.

After adopting Spike and Kasey (camera shy) from Richmond Animal League, we decided it was an organization we wanted to support. If you're an animal lover like me, please participate in our Recycled Fabric Fundraiser and do something good to benefit animals at Richmond Animal League. If you're not an animal lover, do something great for yourself and clean out your stash!

Three ways you can help provide
hope, help and homes for animals in need
1. Donate:
Donate your unwanted fabric in fat quarters,
½ yards or full yard increments only.
Bring fabrics pre-cut into fat quarters, ½ yards or full yards
We will accept only clean, quilt shop quality
100% cotton fabric.
No pet or smoke odors, please.
For each yard you donate you will receive a coupon for
$1.00 off a yard of new fabric - no limit!*
*Each coupon valid for one yard of
regularly priced fabric on the bolt,
limit one coupon per yard. No other discounts apply.
Yellow cards are not punched for sale merchandise.
Coupons expire May 31, 2010.
Drop your fabric off during our normal
business hours 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

We will be selling all donated fabric for $2.00/yard
